Schweißen, Löten, NietenMetallbearbeitung für Einsteiger

Angela Reißenweber - Personal Name;

Welding, Soldering and Riveting Processing Steel for Construction With this book, we want to show you how you can make or repair your own metal work-pieces. Needless to say, appropriate basic theoretical and practical knowledge is required, as well as suitable preparation. A brief introduction to metal as a working material Measurements and dimensions Machining (separating) and metal cutting (shaping) techniques, such as sawing, drilling, cutting threads and filing Connecting metal pieces using screws, rivets and solder joints Connecting metal pieces by welding (electrode hand welding, MIG, MAG, WIG) All these techniques are explained in detail using constructional steel, and supplemented with practical exercises. Most of the techniques are also applicable for non-ferrous metals – details are given in the text. The main focus, however, is on welding, since there are almost no other methods that can compete with welding when it comes to reliability and durability, or that are more suitable for garden and landscape construction.
