In 1985, he graduated from the Department of Chemical Engineering at Hacettepe University, Ankara, Turkey. He received his Master of Science (M.Sc.) and his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees in 1986 and in 1992 at Hacettepe University, respectively. He became an Associate Professor of Chemical Technologies in 1994. Dr. Denizli has been a Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Hacettepe University since 2000.Assistant Professor Dr. Ye?seren Saylan was born in 1985 in Ordu. She graduated from the Department of Chemistry, Hacettepe University, in 2008.
